Hyaluronic acid filler treatment is minimally invasive and usually takes about 20–30 minutes. Anaesthetic cream may be used during the procedure for greater comfort.
After treatment, mild redness or swelling may occur, which usually subsides within 24–48 hours. Tenderness or small bruises may also appear at the injection site.
You can return to most activities the following day. For the first few days, it is recommended to avoid:
- intense physical activity
- sun exposure
- facial treatments
Until the swelling settles, the treated area may look fuller than it will later. The final appearance stabilises over one to two weeks.
During a consultation about hyaluronic acid fillers with Dr Maja Simić in Belgrade, you will receive aftercare guidance tailored to the treated area and product.
