Upper Blepharoplasty — A Gaze That Breathes Lightness Again

Upper blepharoplasty, or upper eyelid surgery, is among the most frequently performed aesthetic procedures of the face.
The goal of this procedure is not only aesthetic rejuvenation, but also restoring the freshness of the gaze, because it is the eyes that carry the expression of vitality, emotion and character.

What is upper blepharoplasty?

Upper blepharoplasty is the surgical correction of excess skin and fat pads of the upper eyelids.
Over the years, eyelid skin loses elasticity, leading to drooping eyelids, creases and a tired expression.

The procedure restores:

  • definition of the natural eye contour
  • a more open and brighter gaze
  • a younger, refreshed facial expression

When is it the right choice?

This procedure is recommended for individuals who notice:

  • excess skin on the upper eyelids
  • a feeling of heaviness of the eyelids and tired expression
  • loss of the natural eyelid crease
  • difficulty with makeup or partially obscured visual field

Blepharoplasty can be performed on its own or combined with temporal lift for maximum opening of the gaze.

The procedure

  • Performed under local anaesthesia
  • Lasts approximately 45 minutes
  • Excess skin and, if needed, a small amount of fatty tissue are precisely removed
  • Incision is placed in the natural eyelid crease, making the scar virtually unnoticeable
  • The patient returns home the same day, with no need for hospital stay

Recovery and results

  • Swelling and mild redness are present for a few days and gradually subside during the first week
  • Sutures are removed after 5–7 days, and by then a clear change is visible — the gaze becomes open, refreshed and light
  • Final result stabilises over 4–6 weeks and lasts for many years

💬 Philosophy of treatment

"Blepharoplasty is not just removing excess skin — it is restoring expression.
When the gaze regains lightness, the face looks younger, brighter
and in complete harmony with its own energy."
