What is recovery like after Aptos threads?

Aptos thread treatment is performed under local anaesthesia and takes between 30 and 60 minutes. After the lifting vectors are marked, the threads are introduced through small punctures using a thin cannula.

After treatment, mild tightness, swelling or a sensation of tension may be present for a few days, which resolves spontaneously. Most patients return to daily activities within 24–48 hours.

The lifting effect is visible immediately and builds over the following months thanks to collagen stimulation.

Specific aftercare and activity instructions are given individually, according to the treated area.

During a consultation about Aptos threads with Dr Maja Simić in Belgrade, you can discuss the treatment process and expected recovery.
